2 Freehold Borough Police Officers Promoted At Council Meeting

Two of Freehold Borough's finest, Sgt. Chris Colaner and Ptl. Nick Iozzi, were promoted at the latest council meeting.

FREEHOLD, NJ - Two of Freehold Borough’s finest have been promoted to Lieutenant and Sergeant, according to municipal documents.

At the most recent Freehold Borough Council meeting on April 5, Sgt. Chris Colaner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and Ptl. Nick Iozzi was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Their promotions are effective as of April 6, 2021.

“We look forward to seeing these officers excel in their new positions and we know they will continue to do great things for our department and the citizens of Freehold Boro,” the borough police department wrote in a social media post. “Congratulations to you both.”
