2 Monmouth Teens Accused Of Killing Newborn Baby: Prosecutor
The teens were arrested Friday in the Neptune Township incident, the prosecutor's office said.

NEPTUNE, NJ — A pair of Monmouth County teenagers have been arrested the killing of a newborn baby in Neptune Township, the Monmouth County prosecutor's office announced Friday.
Jada M. McClain, 18, of Neptune, and Quaimere Mohammed, 19, of Asbury Park, were arrested Friday, Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said.
McClain is charged with first-degree murder and second-degree disturbing or desecrating human remains. Mohammed is charged with second-degree disturbing or desecrating human remains, the prosecutor's office said.

Officials did not release details about the baby or how they allege it was killed. The investigation is still active and ongoing and prosecutors urged anyone with information that could help can call Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Wayne Raynor at 800-533-7443 or Neptune Township Police Detective Nick Taylor at 732 988-8000, extension 410.
McClain and Mohammed are being held in the Monmouth County jail in Freehold Township pending first appearances, the prosecutor's office said.
