In preparation for the event, Freehold Township officials said residents and visitors to the area should expect:

  • A heavy police presence
  • Low-flying helicopters
  • Traffic congestion on Route 524 and Georgia Road (between Route 524 and Stone Hill Road)

These are all expected to last from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. by St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral on Tuesday.

“Drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes,” the township said in an online post. “Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we honor our law enforcement community.”
