3 Indicted for Alleged Sam’s Club Burglary
North Jersey trio accused of stealing car batteries from the bulk retailer.

A Monmouth County grand jury handed down an indictment Wednesday charging three North Jersey men with burglarizing the Freehold Township in July.
Kevin T. Horne, 44, of Irvington; John J. Maraguglio, 52, of Newark; and Clyde Washington Jr., 44, of Newark, were indicted on one count of burglary and one count of theft of movable property.
The men were taken into custody on July 27 after they allegedly entered a locked, fenced-in area of the Sam’s Club property, according to an arrest warrant from the Freehold Township Police Department.

The men are accused of stealing 39 used car batteries from the bulk retail store before being placed under arrest by Police Officer Christopher DeAngelo, the warrant states.
If found guilty, Horne, Maraguglio and Washington face up to five years in prison on the third-degree burglary charge and up to 18 months for the fourth-degree charge of theft of movable property.
