Acoustic Open Mic Night @ The American Hotel

The Freehold Borough Arts Council is pleased to announce its first Acoustic Open Mic Night to be held at the beautiful American Hotel, located at 18 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ, on November 11, 2014. Sign up for musicians begins at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. The American Hotel will open up the banquet room nearest the lounge area for the event.

According to FBAC president Jeff Friedman, “ This is another example where the music and arts community are a perfect fit with our downtown and economic health of the business community. When Jenn Karma presented the idea to us, we were very enthusiastic about doing this. An event of this nature meets many local needs.”

Jenn Karma will be the featured performer for that evening. She has played in the Freehold gazebo, Freehold Idol and in other open mic events. Jenn Karma ads “ Something like this is very enticing for Freehold. I think it has been a long time coming and it is great that the FBAC is willing to provide support. As a musician, I have enjoyed these type of events and am glad to see one in Freehold. I look forward to not only performing, but meeting other local musicians while we have a good time.”

The event is open to acoustic musicians. Interested performers are encouraged to sign up early by emailing the FBAC at info@freeholdborougharts.org
