“Amazing” Teen to Raise Funds for Senior Dogs at June 24 Flea Market, Craft and Yard Sale in Upper Freehold
Free, Benefit Bargain Hunt from 8am to 2pm at Marty's Place Senior Dog Sanctuary features 50 sellers including NJ's Miss Amazing Teen 2017.

On Saturday, June 24th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Ireland Kosco, the current Miss Amazing Teen New Jersey, will be on hand in Upper Freehold to help raise funds for her furry friends at Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary. She and her mom, Donna, will be selling “MISS Ireland’s AMAZING Cookie” mixes at the sanctuary’s Flea Market, Craft and Yard Sale.
The 18-year-old Cream Ridge High School student and 3- sport Special Olympian, already volunteers at the sanctuary, spending several hours a week providing care and companionship to Marty’s Place residents. She has been selling her cleverly packaged cookie-baking ingredients to help pay for a trip to Chicago in August, where she’ll represent New Jersey at the National Miss Amazing Pageant, celebrating the abilities of girls & women with disabilities.
“We were thrilled when Ireland and her mom offered to donate a portion of their proceeds to support the residents of Marty’s Place,” says Executive Director, Doreen Jakubcak. Marty’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides a safe, loving, protected environment for dogs, age 7 and older, that do not have homes.
