This educational event was designed to teach students about the American Revolution with a focus on local history as well as the ways in which revolutionary ideals continue to shape the world today.

Freehold Township Social Studies Teachers John Krupp and Chris Carman (both from Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School) collaborated with the Freehold Township Historical Preservation Commission and the Monmouth County Historical Association to provide students with images and artifacts related to the American Revolution.

Specific stations taught students about topics including the historic Georgia Road Schoolhouse, the Battle of Monmouth, and daily life during the American Revolution.

Many students also created original artwork for a Rev250 logo contest. This artwork was then put on display.
