NJ Sunflower Festivals Among Best In The U.S., Ranking Says

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Two towns along the Jersey Shore are home to some of the best sunflower festivals in the U.S., according to a new ranking.

In a new list from SIXT, the car rental business identified the 20 best sunflower festivals across the country.

To compile this ranking, the company looked at Google reviews, number of acres, TikTok search volume, and entry price.

Among the top 20 sunflower festivals in the U.S., two festivals in Cream Ridge and Manalapan, New Jersey, made the list.

Coming in the Top 10, Holland Ridge Farms' sunflower festival was ranked as the third-best sunflower festival in the U.S.

Located on Rues Road in Cream Ridge, the farm has 50 acres dedicated to sunflowers with a TikTok search volume of 30.8K.

Currently, Holland Ridge Farms' U-Pick Sunflower Festival is open through Oct. 12, allowing visitors the chance to "wander through our vibrant fields, pick the perfect stems to take home, and enjoy a range of family-friendly activities as well as delicious food options."

"Don't miss out on this amazing celebration of fall and flowers!" the farm website reads.

Just below Holland Ridge Farms' ranking on SIXT's list, Happy Day Farm in Manalapan was ranked as the 11th best sunflower festival in the U.S.

Located on Iron Ore Road, the farm has 10 acres dedicated to sunflowers, with a TikTok search volume of 37.3K.

In addition to its sunflower festival, the farm also offers a Fall Harvest Festival, with pumpkin picking, a Dolly Parton-themed corn maze and more.
