Where To Find Ballot Drop Box Locations In Monmouth County

FREEHOLD, NJ — Drop box locations throughout Monmouth County are now available for the return of completed mail-in ballots for the 2026 General Election, County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon said.

The deadline to submit a mail-in ballot to an authorized ballot drop box is 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, on General Election Day.

There are 35 drop box locations in Monmouth County, which are:

• Aberdeen: Aberdeen Municipal Building, 1 Aberdeen Square
• Allentown: Allentown Borough Hall (front entrance), 8 North Main Street
• Asbury Park: Asbury Park City Hall, 1 Municipal Plaza (City Council Chambers, Bangs Avenue entrance)

In addition to authorized drop boxes, completed ballots may also be returned for counting either by regular mail or in-person at the Board of Elections Office at 300 Halls Mills Road, Freehold, by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Drop boxes are under the jurisdiction of the Monmouth County Board of Elections, which is a separate office from the Monmouth County Clerk of Elections Office.
