New Stores Opening At Freehold Raceway Mall: See Details

FREEHOLD, NJ — Freehold Raceway Mall is kicking off the holiday season with a slate of new store openings, including a luxury jewelry brand, a kiosk with gourmet empanadas and the grand reopening of a sneaker and footwear store.

"Together, the three [shops] add to a fall lineup that gives shoppers more to discover, gift, and taste, all under one roof," mall officials said.

Details on the three new stores are as follows:

Journeys

Journeys has reopened at the mall with "a refreshed space and the latest styles."

After a renovation, the go-to destination for the season's must-have sneakers and footwear has reopened on the upper level near Center Court.

Shoppers can find the latest styles from the biggest brands, along with backpacks, accessories, and everything needed to finish the look.

Families shopping for younger trendsetters can head to Journeys Kidz, also on Level 2, for the same styles in kids' sizes.

Belgium Jewelers

Looking for beautiful, well-made jewelry? Luxury jewelry brand Belgium Jewelers opens this month on the Upper Level, JCPenney Wing at the mall.

Belgium Jewelers is expected to celebrate its grand opening at Freehold Raceway Mall in November, just before the holidays.

For more than 35 years, the jeweler has been known for artisan craftsmanship and ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones. Shoppers can also book personalized consultations or work with the team on custom designs.

Billed as "The Hidden Gem of the City," Criollas bakes its gourmet empanadas fresh with ingredients sourced from local farms. They're handheld and easy to eat on the go, which makes them a natural fit for a day at the mall.

"Today, with many pop-ups around the city and expanding outside New York City, I still like to call Criollas a hidden gem. My little shop, really hidden, was the first step to turning an underground treasure into a citywide sensation " said Mario Vivas, Founder and Owner of Criollas Baked Empanadas.
