Accompanied by Heath Braunstein, Senior Director of Dining Services, Applewood residents recently dined locally at Moore's Tavern & Sports Bar as part of Applewood's innovative "Excursions" program. Since its opening in 1787, Moore's Tavern has proudly stood as one of, if not the oldest, restaurants in New Jersey.

Situated in Freehold Township, it has become a cherished local landmark over the centuries. The Excursions program, born from the dynamic Culinary Institute of Applewood™, invites residents to explore and dine in historic local eateries. This enhancement reflects Applewood's dedication to providing residents with a wide range of Engaged Living™ activities.
