Applewood Retirement Community Awarded Five-Star Rating

Applewood's Healthcare Center earned the top quality award from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Under the leadership and guidance of Linda Rizzo, Director of Healthcare Services, and Shanna Lee, Director of Nursing, Applewood has been recognized as a premier facility for both Skilled Nursing and Sub-Acute Rehab Services.

“In less than a year, Linda, Shanna and our outstanding Healthcare Services team have earned this nationally-recognized quality award,” says Keith Grady, Executive Director. “The skill and dedication of our managers and staff have reaffirmed the caliber of care our residents receive.”

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services five-star quality rating system was developed to provide the consumer with a way to search for nursing homes that offer the quality of care they desire.
