Applewood Wins National Mature Media Award

Applewood, a non-profit, continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in Freehold Township and affiliated with CentraState Medical Center, is the recipient of the 26th annual National Mature Media Award. The program recognizes outstanding marketing resources created for senior adult industries.

The community received the Gold Level Award for its 2016 website redesign. Nationwide entries were judged by a panel of mature market experts for overall excellence in design, content, creativity and relevance to the senior market.

“Today’s seniors are computer savvy and increasingly rely on the Internet to save time and gather information, including researching retirement living options that suit their needs,” says Keith Grady, Applewood executive director.

“Our expanded website offers clear and direct educational content, including video tours, which allows visitors to see our residences, amenities and lifestyle offerings before they come for a visit.”

Applewood recently introduced one- and two-bedroom apartment and cottage home virtual tours of their most popular floor plans, the Royal Cottage, Signature Poplar, and Signature Juniper.
