Blood Drive Sponsored By Freehold Employees Is Monday

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Freehold Municipal Employee Blood and Platelet Drive on Monday, Sept. 12, is hoping to put a dent in the critical blood shortage in the area, organizers say.

The event is sponsored by the Freehold Police Department and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the department at 36 Jackson St.

Those interested can go to the Police Department Facebook site and scan in the QR code to select a time to donate.

There will be a $5 Wawa gift card and tote for all donors, Platelet donors will receive a $10 ShopRite gift card.

Medical eligibility questions may be answered by calling Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at 732-235-8100, est. 248.
