“The Boro Back-to-School Bash represents what is possible when a school district and its community come together with a shared commitment to our children,” Superintendent Dr. Asia Michael said.
“We want every student to walk into school on the first day feeling prepared, confident, and excited about the year ahead,” Michael continued. “This event gives us an opportunity to remove barriers, connect families with resources, and celebrate the incredible community that surrounds our schools.”

Board President Joseph Santonacita added that the second annual Boro Back-to-School Bash “is a wonderful example of the strong partnership between our schools and the Freehold Borough community.”
“When families, educators, businesses, and community organizations come together, our students benefit,” Santonacita said. “We are proud to help create an event that celebrates our families while making sure our students have the resources and support they need to start the school year on a positive note.”
The Freehold Borough School District extended its appreciation to Bethel AME Church and the HOSA Fund, whose partnership helped establish the Boro Back-to-School Bash, as well as to all of this year’s sponsors, donors, community organizations, volunteers, and staff members who continue to make this event possible.
The event will take place outdoors with accommodations made to move indoors if needed.
All activities and giveaways are free of charge, and families from across Freehold Borough and Monmouth County are encouraged to attend.
