Brio Tuscan Grille Headed to Freehold Raceway Mall

Development is underway on the new restaurant to join the mall's culinary landscape.

Are you ready for “La Dolce Vita” to come to the ? It means the good life, and in case our mall wasn’t already delivering on that promise, a new restaurant is pledged to show us a taste.

Brio Tuscan Grille is categorized as an upscale affordable restaurant, such that it strives to offer the atmosphere and quality reminiscent of fine dining restaurants at a value typically offered by more casual establishments. Upon its arrival, it will occupy the space between P.F. Chang’s and in the mall’s outdoor lifestyle center, according to to a press release from Macerich, the mall's managing trust. There it will round out the similarly-toned selection offered by its neighbor and The Cheesecake Factory.

“The addition of Brio Tuscan Grille is key to give Freehold Raceway Mall a complete selection of destination restaurants for our guests to choose from,” Macerich Vice President of Leasing and Director of National Restaurant Group Guy Mercurio said.

Brio specializes in authentic northern Italian cuisine. Highlights of the menu include grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops, seafood, and made-from-scratch pasta specialties. In both fare and ambiance the restaurant emulates the pleasures of the Tuscan countryside, a welcome escape from the bustle of, say, an American mall.

The Bravo | Brio Restaurant Group owns and operates 41 Brio restaurants in 18 states. The establishment at the Freehold Raceway Mall will be the first to northern or central New Jersey, with chains already prospering in Cherry Hill and Marlton. Meaning “lively” or “full of life,” Brio should be right at home here.
