Whether you own a classic cruiser, muscle car, hot rod, custom build, truck, or modern showpiece, this is your chance to put it on display and be part of one of Freehold Township Day's most popular attractions.
Join fellow car enthusiasts on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Michael J. Tighe Park for an afternoon filled with great vehicles, awards, food, live entertainment, vendors, family activities, and fireworks.
Vehicle registration is just $20 in advance or $25 the day of the show. The first 100 registered vehicles will receive a dash plaque, and dozens of awards will be presented, including Best in Show, Mayor's Choice, Best America 250 Display, and the Celebrity Choice Award donated by Joe Klecko.

Monmouth Battlefield State Park

The Friends of Monmouth Battlefield, Monmouth Battlefield State Park personnel, NJ State Parks, Forests &amp; Historic Sites and Mott's Artillery are excited to host a Celebration of Independence Day. Bring your family and join us starting at 10:30 AM for this free event at Monmouth Battlefield State Park Visitor's Center on Saturday, July 4th, 2026.
Reenactors from Mott's Artillery will be onsite showcasing a small artillery camp and providing cannon firing demonstrations. At 1PM, there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by a cannon salute.

In February 1777, Gershom Mott was put in charge of the 6th Company of the new 2nd Continental Regiment of Artillery. Mott’s Artillery was involved throughout the American Revolution, first in Quebec, and later at West Point, Kingston NY, Connecticut, New Jersey and then as far South as Virginia. The modern-day Mott’s Artillery was formed in 1977. Mott’s Artillery has a light bronze 3-pounder cannon, a historically correct reproduction designed to move with the infantry.

Mark your calendars for one of Freehold Township's biggest events of the year as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary at Michael J. Tighe Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Enjoy an evening filled with family fun, live entertainment, food vendors, merchandise vendors, free kids rides, a free teen center, and a beer garden. Live music will be provided by Screaming Broccoli and The Phil Engel Band, leading up to a spectacular fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
Car enthusiasts won't want to miss the 27th Annual "Don't Forget the Vets" Car Show from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring classic cars, trophies, dash plaques for the first 100 registered vehicles, and specialty awards.
Admission is free, and there's something for everyone. Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and patriotic spirit as we come together to celebrate our nation, our community, and 250 years of American history.
