'Code Blue' Alert Set For Monmouth County: Where To Find Shelter

Colder temperatures are forecast throughout the area. Here's where you can access warming centers in Monmouth County:

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — A “Code Blue” alert is set for Monmouth County, opening warming centers and shelters to those in need.

“Code Blue” is put in place when temperatures drop below freezing (32°F), and conditions pose a threat to unsheltered individuals.

According to Monmouth County Government, the current “Code Blue” alert will be in place from 6 p.m. on Monday until 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
