The wet weather held off on Tuesday night as the members of the Freehold Boro High School class of 2013 received their diplomas.
Principal Linda Jewell told the full bleachers of family and friends and the graduates that she had said at the senior awards banquet that she had never been part of a graduation in the rain and was glad that knocking on wood had kept that streak in tact.
Other speakers at the ceremony included Assistant Principal John Schollenberger, class president Camerin Spahn, salutatorian Victoria Loehle and valedictorian Victoria Simpson.

Tuesday marked the 134th commencement ceremony at the school and the evening served as an opportunity to recognize the graduates as they go into the college ranks, the military or any number of other options they decided to tackle.
