CONGREGATION KOL AM FINALLY HAS A HOME
August 8, 2014 this 80 family Reform synagogue held its first Friday night service at
59 Broad Street in Freehold, NJ.
Until now Congregation Kol Am did not have a place to call home. It held services in a variety of places including the West
Freehold School and Calgo Gardens in Howell. The congregation was established in 2002 and has grown to a
membership of about 80 families. It is an inclusive congregation that looks to the energy, talents, and creativity of all members. They strive to foster a sense of belonging and have created an atmosphere where everyone has the opportunity to develop a sense of meaningful Judaism. Members of all ages have built warm personal bonds.

Kol Am’s Religious school offers a contemporary Jewish education. The multi-faceted curriculum carries children through a lifetime of learning from K thru 9 th grades plus confirmation. With a low student to teacher ratio, instruction is
personalized.
Continuing Adult Education programs are provocative. They are ideal for those who are seeking intellectual stimulation with other very interesting people. Grownups can learn to read Hebrew, become an adult bar or bat mitzvah, or have an adult Confirmation.
