Country Rockers Parmalee Get Back to Their Roots at iPlay America

Parmalee is a platinum-selling “band of brothers” and gifted country rockers who return to light up the iPlay America Event Center on Sunday, May 21. MSN Entertainment describes Parmalee as “Country Music’s Breakout Stars,” and last year the band was nominated for an American Country Music Award in the “Group of the Year” category. One of country music’s most successful and exciting acts, Parmalee holds the distinction of being one of just three groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut Country album. Parmalee has toured with country greats Jake Owen and Brad Paisley on national tours and performed on NBC’s TODAY Show, The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, FOX & Friends, MLB Central’s Studio 21, and The Queen Latifah Show. Now fans can see them LIVE in concert as they make their much-anticipated return to iPlay America. Tickets range from $22 to $75 and a Meet & Greet ADD-ON package is available for $60. To purchase tickets go to iPlayAmerica.com/Parmalee.
“We have featured some amazing country artists in 2017,” said Jessica Schwartz, vice president of sales and marketing for iPlay America. “iPlay America’s loyal country fans have proven their love for Parmalee over and over again and this concert is our way of showing those fans how much we appreciate them and their support!”
Parmalee is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox on base and life-long best friend Josh McSwain on guitar. Since the band first made its debut on country radio, Parmalee has earned over 305 million Pandora streams, 51 million plays on Spotify, over 31 million YouTube/ VEVO views, and 1.4 million Shazam subscribers. The band is touring now in support of their hit song Roots, the anthemic lead single from their highly-anticipated sophomore album. Lead singer Matt Thomas says of Roots, “It’s about where you come from and all the things that make you… you. Those things always stay with you throughout life, and no matter how hard you might try, you can’t outrun them.”
