About Dr. Stout: 
In addition to TCNJ, Dr. Stout has taught at Rutgers Graduate School of Criminal Justice, Penn State-Abington, and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  He was Executive Director of the Violence Institute and the Behavioral Research and Training Institute at UMDNJ.  Stout served in several capacities with the administrations of Governor Whitman and Governor Corzine, and is a public member of the New Jersey Sentencing Commission.  Having earned his doctorate at the Rutgers School of Criminal Justice, Stout has dedicated his career to using data and research to develop sane, equitable and effective criminal justice policies.
