Light Up the Night gala supports the Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation, named for a local woman who lost her life to domestic violence.

FREEHOLD, NJ — A gala fundraiser for the Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation is set for Feb. 17 at 618 restaurant in Freehold, said organizer Edward A. Parze, president.
Parze said the organization is looking for "attendees, sponsors and gift baskets" for the Light Up The Night Gala, held to support domestic violence awareness the foundation promotes.
The "purple-tie" event will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight at 618, located at 618 Park Ave. in the borough.

There is a five-hour open bar, a plated dinner, raffles, a DJ and live music by the Phil Engel Band, Parze, of Freehold Township, said.
The foundation is named in honor of Parze's daughter, Stephanie Nicole, who died at 25 in a domestic violence episode involving an ex-boyfriend, who later committed suicide.
