Dry Cleaner's Clothing Drive Helps Others in Need

Lapels Dry Cleaning collects more than 1000 pounds of clothing for Big Brother/Big Sister organizations.

Lapels Dry Cleaning, with locations all around the state including right here in freehold, decided to start their own clothing drive to benefit the Big Brother/Big Sister organization and saw their efforts pay off in a big way.

The dry cleaning chain collected 1279 pounds of clothing at their stores in Freehold, Brick and Verona and the money raised from selling those donated clothes will benefit Big Brother/Big Sister organizations in Ocean, Middlesex and Monmouth Counties as well as the Big Brother/Big Sister Clothes for Kids Sake, Inc.

Of the three locations Freehold collected nearly half of the total with 600 pounds donated by local customers. To learn more about the clothing drive click here.
