Early Dismissals Feb. 20 At Freehold Reg. High Schools (Update)
A winter storm prompted the announcement for Colts Neck, Freehold, Freehold Township, Howell, Marlboro, and Manalapan. See the schedules.

Officials in the Freehold Regional High School District have announced an early dismissal for the district's six high schools on Wednesday, Feb. 20, due to a predicted winter storm.
Officials had initially said an early dismissal is a possibility on Wednesday, but later Tuesday evening updated the plan to move ahead with the early closure.
A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for all 21 counties, with predictions of 2 to 5 inches of snow, with the majority of the snow falling between 2 and 5 p.m. Read more: Snow Estimates As Gov. Phil Murphy Addresses NJ Winter Weather

Freehold Regional High School Superintendent Charles Sampson tweeted an update about 7:10 p.m.:
"Due to the impending weather, all FRHSD schools & offices will operate on partial day (early dismissal) schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20. Lunch will not be served. After=school activities & RAISE classes are canceled. Will re-evaluate in AM as needed."

The high school district also said the Mini Engineering Program that was scheduled for Wednesday at Manalapan High School will be canceled.
