Fall Networking Event and West African Dance Workshop with Marafanyi

•Network with dance/movement therapists and other movment professionals, as we move into a new season.

•Connect with members of the NJ ADTA Board of Directors – ask questions, tell us what interests you, and how the chapter can serve you and the community. If you are new to the field, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about dance/movement therapy.

•Hear about the exciting workshops planned for the coming year. • •Participate in a West African Dance workshop (with Live Drumming!) with this pioneering group, founded by international performing and teaching artists, Lara Gonzalez & Yael Shacham. Marafanyi presents an artistic expression that fuses original songs and spoken word with traditional West African rhythm & dance, showcasing indigenous instruments. The ladies of Marafanyi are committed to the therapeutic, educational and transformational power of drum, dance and song for all ages and populations.
