The Freehold Borough Historic Preservation Commission is sponsoring the third annual Historic House Tour and offering a number of surprised and innovations for this year’s tour.
The tour is between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., June 25. Tickets cost $25 and are available at the ReMax office through Commission vice chairman Barbara Wagner or at Borough Hall. Tickets will be available at 97 W. Main St., the McDonnell house, which has been the focal point of the tours since they were initiated. That house will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket holders are invited to stop in for bunch and cookies any time during the day.
The Freehold Arts Council, in conjunction with the Preservation Commission, is offering a sampling of the arts at the McDonnell House throughout the day at no extra charge. Music, art and the opportunity to meet council members will all be on tap.
