CentraState Healthcare System, in partnership with The Monmouth Cancer Coalition and the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey, is offering the program “Living Better With Chronic Disease” to individuals suffering from chronic disease and their caregivers on June 14, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, 901 W. Main Street, Freehold.
Individuals suffering from chronic conditions have a multitude of options available to them that can lead to a better quality of life. The program will explore symptom management, non-traditional therapies, palliation and nutrition. Participants can also learn tangible ways to improve quality of life, self-empowerment and management of chronic disease, support resources within the community, and much more.
