Military History Talk: World War II from the Ground

This lecture discusses the techniques, training and weapons of the World War II soldier. It covers our American Army and Marine Corps plus the armies of Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Italy and Russia. The inspiration for this lecture comes from  questions asked by people who enjoy World War II on film and in books, but do not understand the actual techniques used by the soldiers who fought. This lecture will clarify many of the things seen in World War II documentaries and movies. It will also inform folks interested in the history of our country's military.
