FBAC 6th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade
Freehold Borough Arts Council to host states shortest downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade followed any an after party at the Elks Lodge

Freehold- The Freehold Borough Arts Council is proud to announce the 6th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in beautiful Downtown Freehold. This is the state's shortest downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade will launch from the Freehold Borough Municipal Building located at 51 West Main Street and finish at the Monmouth County Hall of Records located at 1 East Main Street.
Individuals are welcome to march in the parade. Interested groups should contact the FBAC at info@freeholdborougharts.org to register for marching.
At the end of the parade route, there will be a stage set up at the Hall or Records for some brief entertainment with an Irish culture theme. Awards will also be given out for parade participants for best dressed dog, best dressed baby, best decorated bicycle, and best dressed adult. Best dressed will apply to those dressed in St. Patrick's Day theme.

After the parade, the public is welcome to join the FBAC at a family friendly party at the Freehold Elks Lodge 1454 located at 73 East Main Street. The Elks Lodge will be selling St, Patrick's Day themed food and are sponsoring the "Pat Roddy Band" for entertainment.
The Elks Lodge is also hosting a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will help both the Elks and the FBAC. People may purchase raffle tickets ahead of time by visiting the DowntownFreehold offices located at 10 East Main Street. Winner need not be present at drawing.

The FBAC is also holding its second Irish Soda bread contest at the Elks lodge. There will be several categories for competitors. Contact the FBAC at info@freeholdborougharts.orgfor compete rules and application.
