Fire Damages Freehold Township Home

Police said there were no injuries in the blaze on Stonehurst Boulevard.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A fire damaged a home on Stonehurst Boulevard on Thursday, but no one was injured, police said.

The fire forced authorities to close Stonehurst Boulevard between Windsor Terrace and Schank Road while the blaze was being fought.

All of the home's occupants were safely evacuated, police said.

Freehold Township Independent Fire Company 1, East Freehold Fire Company, Freehold Fire Department Station 15 and Freehold Emergency Medical Services responded, police said.
