Freehold Area Schools Announce Delayed Opening
Icy roads and dropping temperatures have district officials exercising caution.

With a snowy, slushy, icy mess covering the roads and temperatures falling throughout the region, school officials in the Freehold area announced delayed openings for Monday morning.
Freehold Boro schools will have a 90-minute delay, according to an announcement on the district’s website.
Freehold Township schools will have a two-hour delayed opening, district officials announced. Middle school PARCC testing originally scheduled to begin Monday, March 2 will be postponed to begin on Tuesday, March 3.

Students attending the Freehold Regional High School District will have a 90-minute delay, with early schools (Freehold, Howell, Manalapan) beginning at 9 a.m. and late schools (Colts Neck, Freehold Township, Marlboro) beginning at 9:55 a.m.
