Freehold Man Set To Cook Off Against Bobby Flay

A Freehold man will be showing off his kitchen skills Thursday when he appears on the Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay,” according to a report.

Chef Peter Morris, who is the executive chef at the soon to be Woody’s Tinton Falls, according to the restaurant’s owners, shared a shrimp appetizer recipe with the Asbury Park Press.

The show airs at 10 p.m. Eastern, according to the Food Network’s website.

Morris expressed his philosophy on cooking when he shared the recipe:

“It is my belief that recipes are guidelines, mere building blocks. What is most important is to remember that food is an expression of care, passion and thoughtfulness. So enjoy, and above all have fun.”
