Every Thursday morning the Freehold chapter of LeTip meets at the American Hotel swapping sales leads and developing professional cooperation.
During a recent meeting the members worked to not only help their own local businesses but also the larger community as a whole with a blood drive.
Kristen Tabert, the coordinator of the event, said it was the first time the club had tried to hold a drive and she was pleased with the results. "It was definitely successful," she said. "For a lot of people it was their first time donating."
It was the first time, but Tabert said she did not think it would be the last. "Certainly we would love to do more," she said.
With 101 members the Freehold chapter is one of the largest in LeTip which Tabert said helps them to accomplish their goals. "It's our way of giving back to the community," she said of the drive.
The club's meetings start at 7:01 Thursday mornings and fun until 8:31 so even the busiest members can start their days on time after the gathering.
