Freehold Police Move To Online Firearms Permit Applications
The borough says residents must apply through the New Jersey State Police system.
FREEHOLD, NJ — If you live in Freehold and are thinking about applying for a firearms permit, Freehold Borough police say you must apply online.
"No handwritten or typed applications will be accepted for firearms ID cards or handgun purchase permits," Freehold Borough police said on the police department's Facebook page.
Instead, residents are asked to use the New Jersey State Police online Firearms and Registration system. Click here for the online system.
