Freehold Police Seek ID In Car Burglaries

The man is believed to be connected to a string of burglaries; he was caught on surveillance video at one home.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Freehold Borough police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man seen on surveillance video breaking into a car in front of a Freehold home last week.

Video posted by the owner of one vehicle shows the man opening an unlocked car door and taking items from the car.

Freehold police, in a post on Facebook, said, "This guy likes to enter, toss and take from other people’s cars. So let’s return the favor and get him identified."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Chris Colaner 732 462-1233, extension 151, or Detective Rich Schwerthoffer at extension 171.
