Freehold resident Marc LeVine's Facebook Job Search and Career Advice Forum Approaches 7000 Members

Former Freehold Borough Councilman President Marc LeVine, has always had an interest in helping people find good jobs. In fact, he graduated with a degree in Industrial Psychology (Human Resources) from Syracuse University and spent the next 38 years covering all bases in the employment field. Marc has always followed his passion for matching good people with good jobs and careers.

Marc's career has taken him through the fast-paced competitive world of New York City employment agencies; the more professional and refined executive search industry; post-secondary education career and placement services; C-suite roles in a national staffing organization as well as a regional one; corporate human resources directorships; and his own recruiting and social media marketing company headquartered in the Borough of Freehold for more than 12 years. Marc currently heads recruiting for one of his former business clients - a major Real Estate Developer and Property Management Company in Piscataway - Edgewood Properties. He has learned many things about the world of employment over the years and now wants to share what he has learned with others.

Today, Marc finds that his past experience is diverse and has been concentrated into a powerful jobs and careers engine. The power of this engine is pointed directly at helping others avoid many of the mistakes made by poorly informed job seekers, career explorers and workers already on the job.

In January of 2017, Marc launched The "Jobs and Careers Advice Forum,"http://www.facebook.com/groups... as a Facebook group and networking site for all sorts of professional people involved in different aspects of the employment field. It is also a virtual home to anyone else looking for advice and referrals regarding successful job search, improved career decision-making and increased productivity and satisfaction on the job. In short, the laymen have needs. The professional have advice to share...and wish to.

The group has become very popular on Facebook and is growing at an impressive rate of 1000+ new members per month. The "Jobs and Advice Forum" is rapidly heading towards 7000 new members. Even better, there is significant engagement among members of the group and some have even gotten job offers, promotions and raises as a result of their active involvement. Where else can anyone gain so much value at no cost?

So what is it all about?

Millions of people lose their jobs every month. If you are the one who has just lost your job, knowing you aren’t alone isn’t much consolation. The good news is that millions of people also land new jobs every month, and you will join that group, too!

Not having a clear target for that next job is a major roadblock for a successful job search. Jumping on to every job board and applying for every job seems to be an automatic response, but that response is usually an exercise in futility.
