UPDATE: Freehold, Freehold Township Schools Closed

UPDATE: 6:30 a.m.: Officials in the Freehold Regional, Freehold Boro and Freehold Township school districts have closed school today.

PREVIOUSLY: Officials at Freehold Borough Schools and in the Freehold Regional School District have announced 90-minute delayed opening schedules for those districts, while Freehold Township Schools will have a two-hour delay on Tuesday, according to notices on their respective websites.

The notifications warned that the delays could turn into closures and that the districts are closely monitoring the weather.

The delayed opening schedule:

Freehold Regional High Schools

• Freehold, Howell, Manalapan: 9 a.m.
• Colts Neck, Freehold Township, Marlboro: 9:55 a.m.

Freehold Borough Schools

• Freehold Learning Center: 10:05 a.m.; AM Pre-K canceled; PM Pre-K 12:30 p.m.; Extended day Pre-K: 10:05 a.m.
• Park Avenue Elementary: 10:05 a.m.
• Freehold Intermediate School: 9:45 a.m.

Freehold Township Schools

• Middle Schools: 9:40 a.m.
• Applegate, Errickson, West Freehold: 9:50 a.m.
• Catena, Donovan, Early Childhood Learning Center: 10:50 a.m.
