WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Health-care professionals, caregivers, educators,

and individuals who will benefit from learning self-care practices and strategies.

WORKSHOP LEADER: Regina Rosenthal, PT, MA, RYT-200 -- physical therapist, teacher, yoga instructor, and author with 30 years of experience, who has taught professional seminars nationally and internationally and community seminars on self-help for chronic pain and stress. Her book, The Heart of Healing: Discovering the Secrets of Self-Care is available on Amazon. She is an Advanced Certified Practitioner and Instructor for Soul Lightening® Acupressure, originators of the Acupressure for Anyone series.


CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS INCLUDED IN FEE: 3 CEs for Nurses (American Holistic Nurses Association), massage therapists (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork), Asian bodyworkers, acupuncturists (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)

GIERS Mission: to provide services to assist individuals, families, and organizations recovering from a wide range of losses. Using a variety of therapeutic modalities including creative arts and action techniques, these services will include education and counseling that will help develop coping skills to facilitate a successful transition toward a healthy recovery. GIERS will also educate and train helping professionals and other community members to understand and aid people experiencing grief.
