Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County Donates Masks

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County donates 300 N95 respirators/masks, along with 300 Tyvek gowns, for local doctors and nurses.

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County (HFHMC) has donated 300 N95 respirators/masks, along with 300 Tyvek gowns, for local doctors and nurses to use during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

There is currently an urgent need for personal protective equipment in the healthcare industry across the country, and Monmouth County is no exception.

The Habitat staff and volunteers usually use the masks on build sites to protect themselves against harmful dust and other particles in the air. However, as the urgent need of these masks for local healthcare workers became abundantly clear, HFHMC donated these masks as they would be better served to help save lives.
