Here's Where To Get 5 Free Trees In Monmouth County Next Week
Monmouth County residents are eligible to pick up bare root seedlings for free next week. See where below.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ ā Monmouth County residents are eligible to pick up five free trees through an initiative led by the Department of Environmental Protection.
Every year, the state of New Jersey distributes free seedlings across the state in an effort to aid the state's tree line in rebounding from the devastating effects of Superstorm Sandy. The seedling giveaways are normally held around Arbor Day, which this year falls on April 29.
The seedlings are bare root tree seedlings, which come in lengths of six inches to two feet tall, in a bundle of five.
