House a Homeless Man

Freehold Clergy Association Congregations need your help to house our homeless neighbors again this winter!

House a Homeless Man

For the past ten years, the Freehold Clergy Association has worked together to provide emergency housing for homeless men in the Freehold area from December through March. Each night a different house of worship opens its doors to provide a warm, safe place for these men to stay, as well as a hot dinner and breakfast. All of this is done through the dedication of local volunteers. Though food and shelter are all donated, there are costs associated with the operation of this program. We are collecting donations to cover the costs of such items as air beds, pillows, blankets, and insurance. We are offering the opportunity for individuals and families to sponsor the housing of these men, who would otherwise be outside during the cold of winter. It costs approximately $10 to cover the cost of housing one man per night.
