Indoor Pickleball Club Opens 1st NJ Location
At Dill Dinkers in Freehold, players can enjoy nine indoor cushioned courts, a ball machine, a pro shop and more.
FREEHOLD, NJ — A new indoor pickleball club franchise has officially opened its first New Jersey location in Monmouth County.
On Monday, Dill Dinkers opened its doors to players in the Mounts Crossings Shopping Center at 202 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold.
Located next to a variety of dining and shopping destinations (including Panera Bread, Livoti’s Old World Market, and Great Clips), the club features multiple courts, event spaces and more for players.

To introduce the community to the new club, Dill Dinkers Freehold is offering free play to all guests through Jan. 25.
Additionally, beginning on Jan. 26 through the end of the month, the club is extending 50% off their rates for all players.

At Dill Dinkers Freehold, players will be able to enjoy:
- Nine indoor cushioned courts (three of which are championship-sized)
- A ball machine
- A pro shop powered by Pickleball Central
- A state-of-the-art reservation system to minimize wait times
Alongside the club features, officials said Dill Dinkers will also offer private event spaces for community celebrations and various leagues for players of all ages and skill levels.
“Dill Dinkers provides exceptional resources for pickleball players, and I’m thrilled to bring this experience to the Freehold community,” said Stephen Hafner, Regional Developer for Dill Dinkers in New Jersey.
“Our indoor facilities allow community members to safely stay active during the colder months while offering a fun and community-first environment," Hafner continued.
News of Dill Dinkers expanding their locations throughout New Jersey first came in 2024, with the announcement that the franchise planned to open 20 new clubs in Monmouth, Middlesex and Union Counties.
Over Summer 2025, the club announced plans for its new Freehold location at Mounts Corner Shopping Center, marking Dill Dinkers’ first club in New Jersey.
