Malvern School Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting/Mother's Day Essay Contest
The Malvern School of Freehold will host a
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and
Grand Opening event for all Freehold residents. There will be a guided tour of the school, refreshments, and other activities to mark the Malvern Schools' 21st location. Known for its innovative curricula designed to encourage young children's love of learning, and nationally-recognized programs, the Malvern School is also an involved corporate citizen. During the event, parents can pick up rules for a new contest called,
"Mother Knows Best," where children ages four to eight can submit a 100-word essay on what makes their mom the "Best mom ever." The grand prize winner will receive $100, a gift certificate for a Mother's Day brunch, and an autographed children's book by Former First Lady Barbara Bush. The runner- up will receive a set of Mrs. Bush's Story Time books. The Malvern School is the only private, pre-school in the nation to have special Mrs. Bush's Story Time educational events throughout the school year. For more information visit
