Mary Jean Black, Longtime Freehold Resident Dies at 83

Worked as a clerk at Brockway Glass

Mary Jean Black, 83, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at The Manor, Freehold Township.  Mrs. Black was born in Union and had resided in Freehold Township for over 50 years.

She was a payroll clerk at Brockway Glass, Freehold before her retirement.

She was predeceased by two children, Jack Wendlandt and Janette Etoll.

Mrs. Black was a member of the Freehold Township Senior Citizen’s Club. She was a bowler, painter, enjoyed crocheting and gardening, and was a voracious reader.

Surviving are her husband, Frank J. Black; three daughters, Lynn Mioduszewski, Leigh Wendlandt, and Linda Eliades; a sister, Elaine Spangenberg; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
