The 'Messiest Fun In Town' Opens In Freehold

Located in the heart of Downtown Freehold, Downtown Slime is a hands-on art studio where guests can make their own one-of-a-kind slime.

FREEHOLD, NJ — "The messiest fun in town" has opened its doors in Downtown Freehold.

Downtown Slime, a new slime art studio, officially opened to customers on Saturday at 36 South Street.

Located in the heart of Downtown Freehold, Downtown Slime aims to turn hands-on creativity into an experience that kids can make their own, the studio website reads.

When guests come to the studio, they're given everything they need to make their own slime, and from there, guests are able to choose their favorite colors, scents, charms and more for their creation.

In addition to making slime, guests can also take part in other art projects and experiences designed to let kids "explore, create and have fun," studio officials said.

"Downtown Slime is an immersive, instructor-led, hands-on art studio where creativity can get a little messy!" their website reads.

At Downtown Slime, guests can stop in for a visit, plan a birthday party, event or even a group fundraiser with the studio.

Their retail section also features a selection of NEEDOH products, squishies and other sensory toys to shop from.

The studio is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
