Missing Freehold Township Teen Girls Sought

The two were last seen Wednesday leaving a home in Ocean County, Freehold Township police said.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A pair of teenage girls from Freehold Township are missing and believed to have run away, and Freehold Township police are seeking assistance in finding them.

Kayla Destefano, 16, and Jocelyn Zaveckas, 15, were last seen walking along Jackson Mills Road on Wednesday evening, Freehold Township police said. They had left a home on Jackson Mills Road and were last seen about 8:50 p.m. walking south, near Chandler Road, police said.

Destefano is 5-foot-2, 139 pounds and has brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar on her left arm. Zaveckas is 5-foot-1, 148 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and has a scar on her left elbow.
