The Monmouth County Fair Is Almost Here: What To Know Before You Go
The annual fair is set to return to Monmouth County this summer, bringing with it rides, live entertainment and more.
FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County Fair is almost here and set to bring rides, entertainment, live music, food and more to the shore.
Set to take place Wednesday, July 22, through Sunday, July 26, the fair will be held at the East Freehold Showgrounds on Kozloski Road in Freehold.

Rides & Entertainment

In addition to the anniversary celebration, attendees will also be able to enjoy a daily entertainment lineup, including:
- The Soaring Buccaneers in High Seas Hullabaloo!
- DAWG Pro Wrestling
- Andrew's Big Show
- Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show
- Robinson's Racing Pigs
- Tommie Turvey's Stunt Horses & Dogs (Thursday-Sunday)
- Fam Jam -DJ Dance Parties
- John Higby the Yo-Yo Guy
- WonderZone Dinosaur Zoo
Alongside live entertainment, the fair will also feature a Home & Garden Tent, featuring award-winning entries of crafts, baked goods, flowers and more.
In addition to the Home & Garden Tent, the Park System Tent will host its "From Field to Forest" theme, and the Living History Tent will host demonstrations, music, and more.
Attendees will be able to enjoy rides at the fair provided by Reithoffer Shows, including classics such as Tilt-a-World, the Himalaya, the Grand Carousel, and many more.
Rides require wristbands; one-day unlimited ride wristbands are available for $30 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and $35 on Friday and Saturday.
Rides are weather permitting and may have height requirements.
Live Music
Live music performances are set to take place throughout the Monmouth County Fair. The schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday Night: Red Dirt Revolution (8:15-9 p.m. & 9:30-10:15 p.m.)
- Thursday Night: THE FUMOS (8:30-10 p.m.)
- Friday Night: Mushmouth (8:30-10 p.m.)
- Saturday Afternoon: Dark City Strings (2-3:30 p.m.)
- Saturday Night: The Ultimate Queen Celebration (8:30-10 p.m.)
- Sunday: Rock It Academy (2-2:45 p.m.) & Ocean Avenue Stompers (4:30-5:30 p.m.)
Hours & Admission
The Monmouth County Fair will be open:
- Wednesday-Friday, July 22-24 (4-11 p.m.)
- Saturday, July 25 (11 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
- Sunday, July 26 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
General admission to the Monmouth County Fair is $10 per adult, while children 12 and under are admitted free.
Half-price admission will be offered during the first two hours of each day; 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday & Sunday.
Veterans and active military with ID enter for free. On Sunday, seniors 65 and older and students with ID are admitted free.
There will be free parking, though all persons and bags are subject to a security inspection upon entry into the Fairgrounds.
Pets, smoking, and/or vaping are not permitted on the Fairgrounds.
