Italian Restaurant To Reopen Inside Freehold Raceway Mall
A familiar eatery known for its Italian fare is slated to open inside the Freehold Raceway Mall, a company representative told Patch.
FREEHOLD, NJ - A familiar eatery known for its Italian fare is planning to reopen inside the Freehold Raceway Mall, a representative told Patch.
Full-service restaurant Brio Italian Grille is hiring for nearly a dozen positions at a not-yet-open location at 3710 Route 9 South, according to its website. Positions include prep cook, bartender, server, cook, host, dishwasher and ghost kitchen cook.
Brio's former owner FoodFirst Global Restaurants filed for bankruptcy amid the coronavirus pandemic last year, eventually selling its assets to Earl Enterprises, which now owns the Italian chain. Other closed locations that are now getting a new lease on life include Lawrenceville.

A representative from the company told Patch that, while the location is anticipated to open, the chain does not currently have a set opening date planned.
The Italian restaurant chain currently touts 35 locations across the country including three in New Jersey (Lawrenceville, Cherry Hill and Marlton). The eatery offers specials such as the Bruschetta Sampler and Gorgonzola Lamb Chops appetizer, as well as the signature Pasta Brio and Grilled Chicken Marsala.

The address provided is located near Freehold Raceway Mall neighbors the Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s and Qdoba Mexican Grill.
