NJCCC Recognizes William Johnson with Cleanup Award
Monmouth County Clean Communities Coordinator receives Cleanup Award
William Johnson, Monmouth County Clean Communities Coordinator, has received the “Cleanup Award” from the New Jersey Clean Communities Council (NJCCC).
Johnson directs the Clean Communities program in Monmouth County, which engages residents to improve neighborhoods by recycling and volunteering for clean-ups. The Monmouth County Clean Communities program also works with other local entities, such as the Monmouth County Park System, to promote beach and park clean ups.
“Our mission is to reduce litter, promote as many volunteer cleanups as possible, and keep our county litter-free through education,” Johnson said.
